They likewise denied that Allah has a Face, despite His words: “And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Possessor of Majesty and Honor.” (1)
They rejected that Allah possesses two Hands, even though He says: “…for what I created with My two Hands.” (2)
They also denied that He has two Eyes (3), although He says: “Sailing under Our Eyes.” (4) and again (5): “so that you might be raised under My Eye.” (6)
They repudiated (7) the report transmitted from the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—who said: “Indeed, Allah descends to the lowest heaven.” (8)
I shall (9) set forth these matters, Allah willing, chapter by chapter. With Him is the assistance (10), and from Him come success and right guidance.

Likewise, all the people of innovation—the Jahmiyyah, the Murjiah, and the Haruriyyah—who deviated in what they innovated, opposing the Quran and the Sunnah and what the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his Companions followed, unanimously condemned by the ummah, such as the actions of the Mu‘tazilah and the Qadariyyah; and I am mentioning….”
(10) In al-Ibanah: “mentioning that chapter by chapter and detail by detail—as Allah wills—and by Him is aid and support.”
ودفعوا أن يكون لله وجه مع قوله:
{وَيَبْقَى وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ}

وأنكروا أن يكون لله يدان مع قوله:
{لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَيَّ}

وأنكروا أن يكون له عينان

{تَجْرِي بِأَعْيُنِنَا}

{وَلِتُصْنَعَ عَلَى عَيْنِي}

ما روي عن رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم -
من قوله:
"إن الله ينزل إلى سماء الدنيا"

وأنا ذاكر

ذلك إن شاء الله بابًا بابًا، وبه المعونة

".
