As for his statement, “Once you let your beard grow you have the right to revile people, declare them unbelievers, set them at odds, and deem their lives and women lawful,” the reply is: this is sheer delirium, the ranting of the insane. Only someone whose faith and reason are both impaired would write and disseminate such nonsense.

This is the last point it has been possible to record. I ask Allah to show me and my fellow Muslims the truth as truth and bless us to follow it, to show us falsehood as falsehood and bless us to avoid it, and not to let it become confounded for us lest we go astray.

May Allah’s blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, his Companions, and all who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
