al-Radd ala Man Ajaza Tahdhib al-LihyahHamoud ibn Abdallah At-Touwaïjri

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds. May blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muḥammad, upon his family and Companions, and upon all who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
To proceed:
I came across an article written by someone both ignorant and audacious, published in the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Siyāsah, issue 5636, on Tuesday, 16 Rajab 1404 AH (17 April 1984 CE) under the title “Allegiance of Employees.” The author filled his piece with falsehoods and fabrications against the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
Among his claims is the statement, “The beard is an Arab symbol and has nothing to do with Islam.”
The reply is as follows: This assertion is utterly false and must be rejected, for letting the beard grow is an established sunnah traced back to the Prophet ﷺ by both his words and his deeds. Numerous hadiths attest to this.
Among them is the report found in the two Ṣaḥīḥ collections and elsewhere, narrated by Ibn ʿUmar ﵄, who said:
