—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—who said: “We, the community of prophets, have one and the same religion.”

The Exalted has also declared:
“He has laid down for you, in matters of faith, what He enjoined upon Noah, and what We have revealed to you, and what We enjoined upon Abraham, Moses and Jesus: ‘Establish the religion and do not divide concerning it.’” ⦗al-Shūrā 42:13⦘

Thus the religion of all the messengers is a single religion, even though their laws and practical paths may differ, just as the rulings within the law of one messenger may vary. The religion of the Messiah is the very religion of Moses, which is likewise the religion of the Friend Abraham before them both, and the religion of Muhammad after them. Although the Messiah lived by the Torah’s law, Allah abrogated through his tongue whatever He willed of it; yet, both before and after that abrogation, his religion remained the religion of Moses, and he never abandoned it.

In the same way, the Muslims follow the religion of the Messiah, Moses, Abraham, and all the other messengers; they are the true followers of the Messiah. For this reason Allah has placed them above the Christians until the Day of Resurrection.
