Allah the Exalted said:
“ The Jews say, ‘Ezra is the son of God,’ and the Christians say, ‘The Messiah is the son of God.’ Such are their words from their own mouths; they mimic the claim of those who disbelieved before them. May Allah destroy them—how far astray they have been led!” ⦗al-Tawbah 9:30⦘

He also said:
“Say, ‘People of the Book! Come to a word that is equitable between us and you: that we worship none but Allah, that we associate nothing with Him, and that none of us takes others as lords instead of Allah.’ If they turn away, then say, ‘Bear witness that we are Muslims.’” ⦗Āl ʿImrān 3:64⦘

Thus the Muslims have certainly not neglected the Holy Spirit, nor the Word of Allah. Concerning the Word of Allah the Exalted has declared:
“There is none among the People of the Book who will not believe in him before his death.” ⦗al-Nisāʾ 4:159⦘

Indeed, it is the Muslims who have followed his religion and the religion of the messengers before him, for the religion of all the prophets—peace be upon them— is one, as is established in the two Ṣaḥīḥ collections in a hadith narrated from the Prophet
