The answer is this:
That claim is a manifest falsehood against the Quran in this passage—just as you have fabricated other falsehoods about it elsewhere. Nowhere in these verses is there the slightest reference to your offerings; the verses speak only of the heavenly table that Allah—exalted is He—sent down in the time of the Messiah, peace be upon him.
Their statement that “the table is the qurbān offered in every Mass” is, first of all, completely unsupported by any proof, and, second, incontrovertibly invalid according to the very religion of the Muslims who received this Quran from Muhammad, blessings and peace be upon him, in both wording and meaning. All of them agree that the table was a spread sent down from heaven during the lifetime of the Messiah, peace be upon him. The story is well-known, recorded in the common run of books, familiar to the learned and the laypeople alike. Never has anyone said that it represents the Christians’ offerings, and nothing in the wording of the verse points to such a reading—on the contrary, the verse proves the opposite, for it states that the table was sent down from heaven whereas their offerings are here on earth; they were never sent down from the sky.
The verse recounts that Jesus said:
“O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table from heaven that will be for the first of us and the last of us a festival and a sign from You. Provide for us, for You are the best of providers.” ⦗al-Māʾidah 5:114⦘ (114)
Allah said, “I am indeed going to send it down to you; but whoever among you disbelieves thereafter, I shall punish him with a punishment such as I will inflict on no one else in all the worlds.” ⦗al-Māʾidah 5:115⦘ (115)
