The Prophet Ezekiel—peace be upon him—said:
“Allah declared: I have withdrawn My hand from the Children of Israel and scattered them among the nations because they did not abide by My commandments, would not obey My orders, opposed Me in what I told them, and refused to listen to Me.”
Similar statements abound in the Torah, in the books of the prophets, and in the Psalms of David—passages the Jews themselves acknowledge, recite in their synagogues, and do not deny a single letter of them. What is found in their scriptures is identically preserved with us in every language. End of quotation.
The reply is as follows:
It is indisputably known in the religion of Muhammad—through recurrent mass transmission (mutawātir)—that the Jews are unjust, unbelieving aggressors who deserve Allah’s punishment and retribution. By the same definitive, mutawātir evidence from the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—it is also certain that the Christians are unjust, transgressing disbelievers liable to Allah’s punishment and retribution. Among the Jews there is a kind of disbelief not found among the Christians, and among the Christians a kind not found among the Jews: the Jews had already altered the law of the Torah before the coming of the Messiah, son of Mary; then, when he did come to them, they rejected him.
