and the Wisdom, as the Exalted One says:

“Allah has truly favored the believers by raising up among them a messenger from their own number who recites to them His verses, purifies them, and teaches them the Book and the Wisdom.” ⦗Āl ʿImrān 3:164⦘.

He, exalted be He, also says:

“Remember Allah’s blessing upon you and what He has sent down to you of the Book and the Wisdom by which He admonishes you.” ⦗al-Baqarah 2:231⦘.

And He says:

“Allah has sent down to you the Book and the Wisdom, and He has taught you what you did not know.” ⦗al-Nisāʾ 4:113⦘.

And He says:

“Remember what is recited in your houses of the verses of Allah and the Wisdom.” ⦗al-Aḥzāb 33:34⦘.

And He, Most High, relates the supplication of Abraham and his son Ishmael:

“Our Lord, make us both submissive to You, and from our offspring raise up a community submissive to You; show us our rituals and turn toward us. You alone are the Ever-Relenting, the Merciful.” ⦗al-Baqarah 2:128⦘ (128)

“Our Lord, raise up among them a messenger from their own number who will recite to them Your verses, teach them the Book and the Wisdom, and purify them.” ⦗al-Baqarah 2:129⦘.
