“…just as We have sent among you a messenger from your own midst who recites Our revelations to you, purifies you, and teaches you the Book and the Wisdom.” ⦗2:151⦘
He—exalted is He—also says:
“And Allah has sent down to you the Book and the Wisdom.” ⦗4:113⦘
And He says:
“Remember Allah’s favor upon you and what He has sent down to you of the Book and the Wisdom.” ⦗2:231⦘
And He says:
“Remember what is recited in your houses of Allah’s verses and Wisdom.” ⦗33:34⦘
It was for this very purpose that the Friend [Abraham] supplicated: after he and Ishmael had raised the foundations of the Kaʿbah, he said—
{كَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِيكُمْ رَسُولًا مِنْكُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِنَا وَيُزَكِّيكُمْ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ}
[البقرة: ١٥١]

وَقَالَ - تَعَالَى -:
{وَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ}
[النساء: ١١٣]
.
وَقَالَ - تَعَالَى -:
{وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَا أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَالْحِكْمَةِ}
[البقرة: ٢٣١]

وَقَالَ - تَعَالَى -:
{وَاذْكُرْنَ مَا يُتْلَى فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَالْحِكْمَةِ}
[الأحزاب: ٣٤]

وَبِذَلِكَ دَعَا الْخَلِيلُ حَيْثُ قَالَ لَمَّا بَنَى - هُوَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ - الْكَعْبَةَ
