And He—the Exalted—also says:
“It is a Quran that We have set forth in stages so that you might recite it to people at intervals, and We have sent it down in successive revelation. Say, ‘Believe in it or do not believe.’ Indeed, those who were given knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, fall down upon their faces in prostration and say, ‘Glory be to our Lord! The promise of our Lord is surely fulfilled.’ They fall upon their faces weeping, and it increases them in humility.” (al-Isrāʾ 17:106–109)

He—Most High—also says:
“Shall I seek a judge other than Allah when it is He who has sent down to you the Book explained in detail? Those to whom We gave the Scripture know well that it has been sent down from your Lord in truth, so never be among the doubters.” (al-Anʿām 6:114)

And He—glorified is He—says:
“We have certainly conveyed the word to them so that they might take heed. Those to whom We gave the Scripture before it believe in it, and when it is recited to them they say, ‘We believe in it; it is indeed the truth from our Lord. Even before it came, we were already in submission.’ Such people will be granted their reward twice over because they have been steadfast, and they repel evil with good and spend out of what We have provided them.” (al-Qaṣaṣ 28:51–54)

And in Sūrat al-Anʿām He says:
“Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize him just as they recognize their own sons, yet those who have brought ruin upon themselves refuse to believe.” (al-Anʿām 6:20)
