But if such a man were to claim infallibility while not being a prophet, he would unquestionably be a liar whose falsehood must eventually be exposed. The devils would attach themselves to him, lead him astray, and he would come under the Almighty’s words:
“Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? They descend upon every habitual liar and sinner.” ⦗Ash-Shuʿarāʾ 26:221-222⦘
The Christians themselves transmit in the Gospels that the one who was crucified and laid in the tomb was later seen by some of the apostles and others: after being buried, he rose from his grave, and they encountered him two or three times. He showed them the marks of the nails and said, “Do not imagine that I am a devil.”
{هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلَى مَنْ تَنَزَّلُ الشَّيَاطِينُ تَنَزَّلُ عَلَى كُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ}
