Al-Jawāb as-Sahīh li-man baddala dīn al-MasīhIbn Taimiya

“Say, ‘Bring your witnesses who can testify that Allah has forbidden this.’ If they do testify, do not testify with them, and do not follow the desires of those who deny Our signs, who have no faith in the Hereafter, and who set up equals to their Lord.
Say, ‘Come, let me recite what your Lord has made unlawful for you: that you associate nothing with Him; that you show kindness to parents; that you do not kill your children out of poverty—We provide for you and for them; that you do not approach shameful deeds, whether open or hidden; and that you do not take any life which Allah has made sacred, except in justice. This He has enjoined upon you so that you may understand.
Do not go near the property of the orphan, except in the manner that is best, until he comes of age. Give full measure and weight with equity—We burden no soul beyond its capacity. When you speak, be just, even if it concerns a close relative, and fulfill the covenant of Allah. This He has enjoined upon you so that you may remember.
And [He commands] that this is My straight path, so follow it and do not follow other ways, lest they separate you from His path. This He has enjoined upon you so that you may be God-fearing.’” [al-Anʿām, 6:150–153]

And the Exalted said:
“Say, ‘My Lord has commanded justice. Set your faces aright at every place of worship and call upon Him, devoting the religion sincerely to Him. As He originated you, so will you return.’
He has guided one group, while another group has deserved misguidance; they have taken devils as allies instead of Allah, yet they think they are rightly guided.
O Children of Adam, dress well at every place of worship, and eat and drink, but do not be wasteful; indeed, He does not love the wasteful.
Say, ‘Who has forbidden the adornment that Allah has brought forth for His servants, and the wholesome things of provision?’ Say, ‘They are for those who believe during the life of this world, and will be theirs exclusively on the Day of Resurrection.’ Thus do We set forth the signs for a people who know.” [al-Aʿrāf, 7:29–32]

And the Exalted said:

{قُلْ هَلُمَّ شُهَدَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ يَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ هَذَا فَإِنْ شَهِدُوا فَلَا تَشْهَدْ مَعَهُمْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَالَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ وَهُمْ بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ - قُلْ تَعَالَوْا أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَلَّا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَوْلَادَكُمْ مِنْ إِمْلَاقٍ نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ وَإِيَّاهُمْ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ - وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَأَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ بِالْقِسْطِ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا وَإِذَا قُلْتُمْ فَاعْدِلُوا وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَبِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ أَوْفُوا ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ - وَأَنَّ هَذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ} [الأنعام: ١٥٠ - ١٥٣] . وَقَالَ تَعَالَى: {قُلْ أَمَرَ رَبِّي بِالْقِسْطِ وَأَقِيمُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ عِنْدَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ وَادْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ تَعُودُونَ - فَرِيقًا هَدَى وَفَرِيقًا حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الضَّلَالَةُ إِنَّهُمُ اتَّخَذُوا الشَّيَاطِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ - يَابَنِي آدَمَ خُذُوا زِينَتَكُمْ عِنْدَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا وَلَا تُسْرِفُوا إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْرِفِينَ - قُلْ مَنْ حَرَّمَ زِينَةَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي أَخْرَجَ لِعِبَادِهِ وَالطَّيِّبَاتِ مِنَ الرِّزْقِ قُلْ هِيَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا خَالِصَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَذَلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ} [الأعراف: ٢٩ - ٣٢] . وَقَالَ تَعَالَى:
