He, the Most High, also says:
“Righteousness is not that you turn your faces towards the east or the west. Rather, true righteousness is to believe in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book and the prophets; to give wealth—despite loving it—to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveller, those who ask, and for the liberation of slaves; to establish the prayer and give the prescribed alms; to fulfil their pledges whenever they make them; and to be steadfast in hardship, adversity and at the time of battle. Such are the ones who are truthful, and such are the ones who are God-fearing.” ⦗2:177⦘
He, Exalted is He, also says:
“The Messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and so do the believers. All of them believe in Allah, His angels, His Books and His messengers; they say, ‘We make no distinction between any of His messengers.’ They say, ‘We hear and we obey. Your forgiveness, our Lord; to You is the journey’s end.’
Allah does not burden any soul beyond its capacity. It will have whatever it has earned, and it will bear whatever it has incurred. ‘Our Lord, do not call us to account if we forget or err. Our Lord, do not lay upon us a burden as You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, do not place on us what we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so help us against the disbelieving people.’” ⦗2:285-286⦘
His confirmation of the Torah and the Gospel is mentioned in several places in the Quran, for He says:
“We have sent down to you the Book in truth, confirming whatever Scripture was before it and acting as a guardian over it.” ⦗5:48⦘
