He also said, in Sūrat al-Shuʿarāʾ:

“The people of Noah rejected the messengers; when their brother Noah said to them, ‘Will you not be mindful of Allah? I am indeed a trustworthy messenger to you, so fear Allah and obey me. I ask of you no wage for this; my reward is with none but the Lord of all worlds. So fear Allah and obey me.’ ” ⦗al-Shuʿarāʾ: 105-163⦘.

And His words:

“ʿĀd denied the messengers; when their brother Hūd said to them, ‘Will you not be mindful of Allah? I am indeed a trustworthy messenger to you, so fear Allah and obey me. I ask of you no wage for this; my reward is with none but the Lord of all worlds.’ ” ⦗al-Shuʿarāʾ: 123-164⦘.

And His words:

“Thamūd denied the messengers; when their brother Ṣāliḥ said to them, ‘Will you not be mindful of Allah? I am indeed a trustworthy messenger to you, so fear Allah and obey me. I ask of you no wage for this; my reward is with none but the Lord of all worlds.’ ” ⦗al-Shuʿarāʾ: 141-145⦘.

وَقَالَ: فِي سُورَةِ الشُّعَرَاءِ {كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ الْمُرْسَلِينَ - إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ - إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ - فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ - وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ - فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ} [الشعراء: ١٠٥ - ١٦٣] . وَقَوْلُهُ: {كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ الْمُرْسَلِينَ - إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ - إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ - وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ} [الشعراء: ١٢٣ - ١٦٤] . وَقَوْلُهُ: {كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ - إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ صَالِحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ - إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ - فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ - وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ} [الشعراء: ١٤١ - ١٤٥] وَقَوْلُهُ:
