‘They certainly did not kill him; rather, Allah raised him up to Himself.’ [al-Nisāʾ 157]

And in Sūrat Āl ʿImrān:
‘Indeed, I will take you and raise you to Me, purify you from those who disbelieve, and place those who follow you above the disbelievers until the Day of Resurrection.’ [Āl ʿImrān 55]

And He says in Sūrat al-Baqarah:
‘We gave Jesus, son of Mary, the clear proofs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit.’ [al-Baqarah 87]

And He says in Sūrat al-Ḥadīd:
‘We sent, following them, Jesus son of Mary; We gave him the Gospel and placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy. As for monasticism, they invented it—We did not prescribe it for them—seeking only the good pleasure of Allah; yet they did not observe it as it should have been observed. So We rewarded those of them who believed.’ [al-Ḥadīd 27]

And He says in Sūrat Āl ʿImrān:
‘Among the People of the Book there is a community standing firm: they recite Allah’s revelations through the watches of the night while they prostrate. They believe in Allah and the Last Day, enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and hasten to do good deeds. Such people are among the righteous.’ [Āl ʿImrān 113]

Then we found that it extols our Gospel.
