“My Lord, You have given me a measure of dominion and taught me the interpretation of events. Originator of the heavens and the earth, You are my Protector in this world and the Hereafter; take my soul as a Muslim and join me with the righteous.”

He, exalted be He, also said about Moses:

“Moses said, ‘My people, if you truly believe in Allah, then put your trust in Him—if you are indeed Muslims.’”

[Yūnus 84]

And He said about the magicians who believed in Moses:

“They said, ‘No harm; we shall surely return to our Lord.’”

[al-Shuʿarāʾ 50] (50)

“We hope our Lord will forgive us our sins, for we were the first to believe.”

[al-Shuʿarāʾ 51]

They also said:

“And you take issue with us only because we believed in the signs of our Lord when they came to us. Our Lord, pour upon us perseverance and cause us to die as Muslims.”

[al-Aʿrāf 126]

He, exalted be He, said in the story of Solomon:

“Indeed, it is from Solomon, and it says: ‘In the Name of Allah, the All-Merciful, the Ever-Merciful.’”

[al-Naml 30] (30)

“Do not exalt yourselves above me, but come to me in submission.”

[al-Naml 31]

And He said:

“He said, ‘Counsellors, which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?’”

[al-Naml 38]

And He said:

“We were granted knowledge before her, and we have indeed been Muslims.”

[al-Naml 42]
