Thus, He—glorified and exalted—made plain that His Messenger is neither misguided through ignorance nor led astray by following his own caprice, and that he does not speak from mere desire; every word he utters is nothing but revelation that Allah, glorious and exalted, has sent down.
The Exalted also says:
“He is the One who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth so that He may cause it to prevail over every other religion, and Allah suffices as Witness.” ⦗Al-Fath 48:28⦘
Guidance, then, embraces beneficial knowledge, while the religion of truth embraces righteous action, and its foundation is justice, as He, exalted, says:
“We sent with them the Book and the Balance so that mankind might uphold justice.” ⦗Al-Hadid 57:25⦘
The root of justice is to be just with respect to Allah the Exalted—that is, to worship Him alone with no partner—for associating others with Him is a tremendous injustice, just as Luqman said to his son:
“My son, do not ascribe partners to Allah; indeed, associating others with Him is a grievous injustice.” ⦗Luqman 31:13⦘
