And the Exalted One said—by way of protecting and perfecting what His messengers convey:
“Never did We send a messenger or a prophet before you but that, when he recited, Satan cast something into his recitation. Yet Allah abolishes what Satan casts, then Allah makes His verses firm. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise—so that He may make what Satan casts a trial for those in whose hearts is sickness and for those whose hearts are hard, and the wrongdoers are indeed in extreme dissension—and so that those endowed with knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord, believe in it, and for their hearts to humble themselves before Him. Surely Allah guides those who believe to a straight path.” (Al-Ḥajj 22:52-54)
Moreover, if he had been sent only to the Arabs while he summoned the Jews and Christians to believe in him, declared them unbelievers when they refused, fought them, killed their combatants, and took their offspring captive, that would be sheer injustice—something perpetrated only by the most oppressive of people. A prophet whom Allah has sent is wholly free of such wrongdoing.
Hence, to affirm that his message was limited to the Arabs alone—despite the evident universality of his call to all humanity—is an internally contradictory and manifestly unsound claim. Every proof that establishes him as a messenger necessarily entails that his mission is addressed to all creation; whoever acknowledges that he is a messenger is thereby obliged to acknowledge that he is a messenger to everyone. Otherwise, it would follow that Allah sent a messenger who fabricates lies against Him,
who says to the people:
“Allah has commanded you to follow me, and He has instructed me …”
