And He, exalted be He, also says:
“He is the One who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth so that He might make it prevail over every religion” ⦗at-Tawbah 9:33⦘.
In his being sent there are further wisdoms as well.
Likewise, His words:
“Indeed, We have sent down the Book to you in truth so that you may judge between people according to what Allah has shown you” ⦗an-Nisāʾ 4:105⦘.
In its revelation there is glad tidings and warning, command and prohibition, promise and threat.
In the case of Jesus son of Mary, He says:
“It is easy for Me, and so that We may make him a sign for people and a mercy from Us; and the matter has already been decreed” ⦗Maryam 19:21⦘.
He likewise says:
“Allah is the One who subjected the sea to you so that ships may sail upon it by His command, and so that you may seek of His bounty” ⦗al-Jāthiyah 45:12⦘.
Within this are other wisdoms, as He says in another verse:
“He is the One who has subjected the sea so that you may eat from it tender meat and extract from it ornaments that you wear” ⦗an-Naḥl 16:14⦘.
And He says:
“The two bodies of water are not alike: one is sweet, fresh, and pleasant to drink, while the other is salty and bitter; yet from each of them you eat tender meat and extract ornaments that you wear, and you see the ships ploughing through them so that you may seek of His bounty and so that you might give thanks” ⦗Fāṭir 35:12⦘.
