Jesus the Messiah, in the Gospel, said—when he was asked about it: “No one among humankind knows it, nor the angels, nor the Son; the Father alone knows it.” This is one of the proofs that he is not the Lord of all worlds. Likewise, Muḥammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—stated the same when he was questioned about it. The Most High said:
“They ask you about the Hour—when will it take place? Say: Its knowledge rests only with my Lord; none will unveil it at its appointed time but He. It weighs heavily on the heavens and the earth” (Q 7:187).

“It will not come upon you except suddenly. They ask you as though you were well informed about it. Say: Its knowledge is only with Allah, though most people do not know” (Q 7:187).
In the Ṣaḥīḥ it is related from the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—that he said: “You ask me about the Hour, yet its knowledge is only with Allah.”
