Thus it happened exactly as He had foretold: they were routed in this world, as all people witnessed, and this in turn confirms the latter part of the proclamation—that they will be herded toward Hell, and what an evil resting place it is.

Moreover, Allah granted him a support that is bestowed only upon prophets; indeed, no prophet was ever aided to the degree that he was. He was sent with the finest of scriptures, to the noblest of communities, bringing the most perfect of laws, and Allah made him the leader of the children of Adam, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Never has anyone falsely claiming prophethood been known except that Allah cut him off, disgraced him, and exposed his lies and depravity.

Conversely, every claimant to prophethood whom Allah supported proved to be truthful, just as He supported Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, David, and Solomon—indeed, He also supported Shuʿayb, Hud, and Ṣāliḥ. It is Allah’s sunnah to grant victory to His messengers and to those who believe, both in the life of this world and on the Day when witnesses will stand; and that is precisely what occurs. Whoever learns of Allah’s actions only by observing repeated patterns should recognize that this is His customary way, by which one may discern what He does. And whoever knows this by virtue of His wisdom knows that no one who falsely claims prophethood and lies about Him will ever be granted such support.
