And He, exalted is He, says:

“He has ordained for you, in matters of religion, the same that He enjoined upon Noah, that which We have revealed to you, and what We enjoined upon Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: ‘Establish the religion and do not divide within it.’ The very thing to which you are calling them is grievous to the idolaters.” ⦗42:13⦘

He, exalted is He, also says:

“So set your face steadily toward the religion, inclining wholly to the truth—the natural disposition with which Allah has fashioned all people. There is no altering the creation of Allah. That is the upright religion, yet most people do not know.” ⦗30:30⦘

Both Ṣaḥīḥ collections record, on the authority of Abū Hurayrah, that the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—said:

“We, the company of prophets, share a single religion.”

وَقَالَ تَعَالَى: {شَرَعَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الدِّينِ مَا وَصَّى بِهِ نُوحًا وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَمَا وَصَّيْنَا بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَى وَعِيسَى أَنْ أَقِيمُوا الدِّينَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا فِيهِ كَبُرَ عَلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ مَا تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَيْهِ} [الشورى: ١٣] وَقَالَ تَعَالَى: {فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا فِطْرَةَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ} [الروم: ٣٠] وَفِي الصَّحِيحَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِنَّا مَعَاشِرَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ دِينُنَا وَاحِدٌ» . وَهَذَا مَبْسُوطٌ فِي مَوْضِعٍ آخَرَ.
