All of this stands as the very fulfilment of the Almighty’s word:
“He it is who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth so that He might cause it to prevail over every other religion; and Allah suffices as Witness.” (48:28)
His ascendancy over every religion by way of knowledge, proof, and lucid argument is realised only through the signs and evidences He manifests; and that, in turn, is achieved solely through knowing what is transmitted from Muhammad—his signs, which constitute the proofs, and his laws, which are the intended meaning indicated by those proofs. In this manner Allah has made him pre-eminent, in knowledge, argument, and clarification, over every religion, just as He has made him pre-eminent, in might, victory, and support, over every religion. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
Moreover, there is no argument employed for any conclusion whatsoever but that the arguments attesting to the Lord’s signs are greater in both magnitude and number.
The Sixth Path:
The scholars have produced many works enumerating his signs and the proofs transmitted in the reports, even devoting entire books to the subject—such as Dalāʾil al-Nubuwwa by the jurist and ḥadith master Abū Bakr al-Bayhaqī, and before it the work entitled Dalāʾil al-Nubuwwa
