In Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim it is narrated from Jābir:

“We travelled in the company of the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—until we halted in a broad valley. The Messenger of Allah went off to relieve himself, and I followed him carrying an idāwah (a small water skin) filled with water. He looked around but could find nothing behind which to conceal himself. Then he noticed two trees on the edge of the valley. He walked to one of them, grasped two of its branches and said, ‘Move with me, by Allah’s permission.’ The tree came along with him like a bridled camel that obediently follows its handler. When he reached the second tree he took hold of one of its branches and said, ‘Move with me, by Allah’s permission,’ and it too came along in the same manner. When he reached the midpoint between them, he brought the two trees together until they met and then said, ‘Join together around me—by the permission of Allah, the Exalted.’ So they closed in around him. I withdrew quickly, fearing that the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—might notice me.”
