“…there is nothing between heaven and earth that does not know I am the Messenger of Allah—apart from the defiant jinn and human beings.”

Al-Ṭabarānī likewise relates—through Jābir—that he said:

“We set out on the expedition of Dhāt al-Riqāʿ, and when we reached the volcanic tract of Wāqim, a Bedouin woman brought her son to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, ‘Messenger of Allah, this son of mine has been overcome by Satan.’

He said, ‘Bring him closer to me.’ So she brought him near.

Then he said, ‘Open his mouth,’ and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, spat into it…”
