and the Christians in matters of monotheism, belief in the prophets, the lawful and the unlawful, and everything of that sort—proof that the Muslims are superior to both communities. Although the evidences for this are exceedingly numerous, my aim is only to draw attention to the point. Once the merit of the community is established, its superiority necessarily entails the superiority of the one they follow.
