“And tell My servants to say that which is best; truly, Satan stirs up discord among them” (al-Isrāʾ 17:53),
and His words:
“Repel evil with what is better” (al-Muʾminūn 23:96),
along with His statement elsewhere:
“they fend off evil with good” (ar-Raʿd 13:22),
and He said:
“argue with them in the manner that is best” (an-Naḥl 16:125),
and:
“Do not dispute with the People of the Scripture except in the way that is best” (al-ʿAnkabūt 29:46),
and the Exalted said—twice in the Qur’an—
“Do not approach the property of the orphan except in the way that is best.”
{وَقُلْ لِعِبَادِي يَقُولُوا الَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَنْزَغُ بَيْنَهُمْ}

وَقَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى:
{ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ السَّيِّئَةَ}
[المؤمنون: ٩٦]
مَعَ قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى فِي مَوْضِعٍ آخَرَ:
{وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ}
[الرعد: ٢٢]
،
وَقَالَ تَعَالَى:
{وَجَادِلْهُمْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ}
[النحل: ١٢٥]
،
وَقَالَ:
{وَلَا تُجَادِلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ}
[العنكبوت: ٤٦]
،
وَقَالَ تَعَالَى:
وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فِي مَوْضِعَيْنِ.
