In the authentic collection it is reported from Anas:
“A woman whose mind was somewhat unsettled came and said, ‘Messenger of Allah, I have a request of you.’
He replied, ‘Mother of so-and-so, choose whichever road you wish and remain there; I will come and stand with you.’
He then withdrew with her and spoke with her privately until her need was fulfilled.” Muslim recorded this report.
Anas also said, “A slave-girl from among the slave-girls of Medina would take the hand of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and lead him about to attend to her errands until she had finished; then he would return.” Al-Bukhari transmitted this in al-Adab.
