In Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Anas reports: “A Jewish boy used to serve the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The boy fell ill, so the Prophet visited him and asked, ‘Do you testify that there is no deity but Allah?’ The boy looked to his father, and the father said, ‘Obey Abū al-Qāsim.’ The boy then embraced Islam, and the Prophet said, ‘Praise be to Allah who saved him through me from the Fire.’”
