Both Ṣaḥīḥs also relate, on the authority of Anas, who said:
"The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was neither markedly tall nor short, neither unnaturally pale nor dark-complexioned, and his hair was neither tightly curled nor completely straight."
They likewise transmit from him that he said:
"The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had a luminous complexion; his perspiration seemed like pearls. When he walked, he inclined slightly forward. I have never touched any brocade or silk softer than the palm of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, nor have I ever smelled musk or ambergris more fragrant than the scent of the Messenger of Allah."
وَفِي الصَّحِيحَيْنِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ،
قَالَ:
"
«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ بِالطَّوِيلِ الْبَائِنِ وَلَا بِالْقَصِيرِ، وَلَا بِالْأَبْيَضِ الْأَمْهَقِ وَلَا بِالْآدَمِ، وَلَا بِالْجَعْدِ الْقَطَطِ وَلَا بِالسَّبْطِ»
.
وَفِي الصَّحِيحَيْنِ عَنْهُ قَالَ:
"
«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَزْهَرَ اللَّوْنِ، كَأَنَّ عَرَقَهُ اللُّؤْلُؤُ، إِذَا مَشَى تَكَفَّأَ، وَمَا مَسَسْتُ دِيبَاجَةً وَلَا حَرِيرًا أَلْيَنَ مِنْ كَفِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا شَمَمْتُ مِسْكًا وَلَا عَنْبَرَةً أَطْيَبَ مِنْ رَائِحَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ»
