Sufyan, from Habib ibn Abi ‘Amrah, from Sa‘id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn ‘Abbas,
Al-Tirmidhi said: “This hadith is fair, sound, and singular; we know it only through the narration of Sufyan al-Thawri from Habib ibn Abi ‘Amrah.
It has also been transmitted through the chain of al-Zuhri, from ‘Ubayd Allah ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Utbah, from Ibn ‘Abbas, and he remarked, ‘This is a singular hadith through this route.’
It was likewise reported through the chain of al-A‘mash, from ‘Atiyyah, from Abu Sa‘id.”
