—up to His words:
“Say: ‘This is my way; I call to Allah upon clear insight—myself and whoever follows me. Glory be to Allah! I am not of those who associate others with Him. We sent before you only men from the people of the towns to whom We revealed. Have they not traveled through the land and observed how those before them ended? Truly the home of the Hereafter is better for those who are mindful—will you not reason? Until, when the messengers despaired and thought they had been denied, Our help came to them; then We saved whom We willed, and Our might can never be repelled from the guilty people. In their stories there is a lesson for people of discernment. This Qur’an is no invented tale; it is a confirmation of what came before it, a detailed exposition of all things, and guidance and mercy for a people who believe.’” (Yusuf 108–111)
The Exalted also said:
“And they ask you about Dhu’l-Qarnayn. Say: ‘I shall recite to you something of his account.’” (Al-Kahf 83)
