ʿUmar wrote back to him:
“By day, dig 13 graves, and at night inter him in one of them, so that the people will not be put to trial because of him.”
فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ عُمَرُ:
" أَنِ احْفُرْ بِالنَّهَارِ ثَلَاثَةَ عَشَرَ قَبْرًا، وَادْفِنْهُ بِاللَّيْلِ فِي وَاحِدٍ مِنْهَا ; لِئَلَّا يُفْتَنَ النَّاسُ بِهِ "
