My oneness and to the worship of Me, and he will recount to them what he witnessed of My signs; yet they will deny him and persecute him.

The transmitter of this glad tidings said:

They said: Daniel then related, word for word, the story of the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—as the angel had dictated it to him, until he reached the last days of his community, the sounding of the Trumpet, and the end of the world. His prophecies are numerous, and they are now in the hands of the Christians and the Jews, who read them.

Whatever we might describe of what Allah has mentioned regarding the qualities of this nation and its Prophet, and of their sovereignty lasting until the Day of Resurrection—

I say:

This is Daniel’s prophecy: it contains the glad tidings of the Messiah and the glad tidings of Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—and within it is a description of Muhammad
