—indeed, an unequivocal affirmation free from any weakness.
So if anyone wishes to contest this, let him show us another man named Muhammad whose arrows are loosed at his command and whose authority is obeyed without resistance.
Daniel the Prophet—peace be upon him—also spoke when Nebuchadnezzar asked him to interpret a dream he had seen and then forgotten:

“You saw, O king, a mighty statue standing before you. Its head was of gold, its arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its shanks of iron, and its feet of clay. Then you saw a stone, not cut by human hands, come and strike that enormous statue; it shattered, crumbled, and turned to dust, which the winds swept away until no trace remained. Meanwhile, the stone became a great mountain that filled the entire earth. Is this not what you saw, O king?”

Nebuchadnezzar replied, “It is indeed. What, then, is its interpretation?”

Daniel said, “You are the head of gold you beheld. After you will arise your two sons symbolized by the silver—both of them inferior to you. Then, after them, a third kingdom will rise, one still weaker than the former two….”
