Section: The ninth prophecy from Isaiah
They said:
Isaiah—quoting the Almighty—declared:
“Give thanks to My Beloved and My son, Ahmad.”
In these words God called him both “Beloved” and “Son.” Although David, too, was once addressed as “son,” God singled Muhammad out with a special distinction when He said:
“My Beloved, My Son—thank him.”
Consequently, Isaiah made gratitude for Muhammad an act of worship, and God obligated him and his people to thank and honor Muhammad so that his rank and station with God might be manifest. This is a distinction granted to no other messenger.
Isaiah also said:
“We have heard, from the ends of the earth, the voice of Muhammad.”
This is Isaiah’s plain, unambiguous mention of the Messenger of Allah by name—peace and blessings be upon him. Let the People of the Book show us any prophet whose name was set forth so explicitly by earlier prophets other than the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
