Isaiah—referring here to Mecca—said:
“I have engraved you upon My palm. Your children shall come to you swiftly, while all who sought to frighten or betray you shall be driven away. Lift up your gaze to what surrounds you: they will flock toward you and gather at your side. Then bear My Name, for I am the Ever-Living, so that you may be clad in splendid garments and adorned with a crown like a bride. Your desolate places will overflow with inhabitants and with those who call upon Me within you. Who reared these for me, and who assumed responsibility for them?’”
