Section: The Seventh Glad Tidings from Isaiah
They said: Isaiah further described the nation of Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—saying:
“The wilderness and the towns shall teem with the children of Kedar, chanting praises; from the mountaintops they will call aloud. They are the ones who ascribe honor to God and glorify Him both on land and at sea.”
Kedar is, by unanimous agreement, a son of Ishmael; the tribes of Rabiʿah and Muḍar descend from him, and Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—comes from Muḍar. This abundance and this glorification were granted to them only through the advent of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
