Section: A Third Prophecy from Isaiah
They said:
Isaiah the prophet—peace be upon him—declared, proclaiming in the very name of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him:
“I have established your cause, O Muhammad, O holy one of the Lord; your name has existed from eternity.”
They continued: After this, is there any excuse left for a deviant, or any ground for a caviler to object?
Isaiah’s statement that the name of Muhammad “has existed from eternity” agrees with the saying of David that we have already quoted: “his name shall exist before the sun.”
His words “O holy one of the Lord” mean: O he whom the Lord has purified, freed from his human nature, and chosen for Himself.
