—gained mastery over the lands stretching from the Mediterranean Sea to the Persian Gulf, and from the regions flanked by the rivers Jayḥūn and Sayḥūn all the way to the furthest reaches of the West, just as he said:

“The earth was folded up for me, eastward and westward, and the dominion of my community will extend over all that was folded up for me.”

Unceasing prayers and blessings are invoked upon him: in each of the five daily prayers and in other prayers each member of his nation says, “O Allah, send Your prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, and bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad,” so he is perpetually remembered with prayer and blessing.
