Section: A Fourth Glad Tidings from David, peace be upon him
They said:
David declared in one of his Psalms:
“Let the deserts and their hamlets rejoice; let the land of Kedar turn into lush pastures. Let the cave-dwellers praise the Lord and shout from the mountaintops in His glorification, and let them spread His praises throughout the islands.”
Now, to which people of all the nations do those deserts belong if not to the nation of Muhammad? And who is Kedar if not the son of Ishmael, the forefather of Allah’s Messenger—may Allah bless him and grant him peace? And who are those cave-dwellers and mountain folk if not the Arabs?
[فَصْلٌ: بِشَارَةٌ رَابِعَةٌ مِنْ دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ]
وَقَالُوا:
قَالَ دَاوُدُ فِي مَزْمُورِهِ:
" لِتَرْتَاحَ الْبَوَادِي وَقُرَاهَا، وَلِتَصِرَّ أَرْضُ
(قَيْذَارَ)
مُرُوجًا، وَلِيُسَبِّحَ سُكَّانُ الْكُهُوفِ وَيَهْتِفُوا مِنْ قُلَلِ الْجِبَالِ بِحَمْدِ الرَّبِّ، وَيُذِيعُوا تَسَابِيحَهُ فِي الْجَزَائِرِ "

فَلِمَنِ الْبَوَادِي مِنَ الْأُمَمِ سِوَى أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ؟ وَمَنْ
(قَيْذَارُ)
سِوَى ابْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ جَدِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ وَمَنْ سُكَّانُ الْكُهُوفِ وَتِلْكَ الْجِبَالِ سِوَى الْعَرَبِ؟
