Section: A Third Glad-Tiding from David, peace be upon him

They said:
David declared in one of his Psalms:
“Truly, our Lord is great—most worthy of praise.”

And in its translation it reads:
“Our God is holy, and Muhammad has filled the whole earth with rejoicing.”

They said: Hence David explicitly mentioned the name Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—together with his homeland, which he called “the Town of God,” and he stated that his word would spread over the entire earth.

I say: The sound hadith cited earlier reports that when it was asked of ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr—and another narration says it was ʿAbd Allāh ibn Salām—“Tell us about some of the description of the Messenger of Allah…”
