rather the Christians often fault anyone who fights the disbelievers with the sword. Some of them even count this among the alleged shortcomings of Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—and of his community, while ignoring what is in their own books: that Allah commanded Moses to fight the unbelievers, that the Children of Israel fought them by His order, that Joshua and David—and other prophets besides—engaged them in battle, and that Abraham the Intimate Friend fought to shield his followers from oppression.
