Section: A Glad Tiding from the Zabur and Its Interpretation
David said in the Zabur:
“Praise Allah with a new praise; let him rejoice in the Creator whose nation Allah has chosen for him, to whom He has granted victory, and guided the righteous among them through honor. They glorify Him upon their beds and magnify Allah with loud voices; in their hands are double-edged swords, so that He may exact vengeance through them upon the nations that do not worship Him.”
These qualities apply solely to Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—and to his community, for they are the ones who proclaim Allah’s greatness aloud in their adhān
[فَصْلٌ: بِشَارَةٌ مِنَ الزَّبُورِ وَتَفْسِيرُهَا]
فَصْلٌ
وَقَالَ:
دَاوُدُ فِي الزَّبُورِ فِي قَوْلِهِ:
" سَبِّحُوا اللَّهَ تَسْبِيحًا جَدِيدًا، وَلْيَفْرَحْ بِالْخَالِقِ مَنِ اصْطَفَى اللَّهُ لَهُ أُمَّتَهُ وَأَعْطَاهُ النَّصْرَ، وَسَدَّدَ الصَّالِحِينَ مِنْهُمْ بِالْكَرَامَةِ، يُسَبِّحُونَهُ عَلَى مَضَاجِعِهِمْ وَيُكَبِّرُونَ اللَّهَ بِأَصْوَاتٍ مُرْتَفِعَةٍ، بِأَيْدِيهِمْ سُيُوفٌ ذَاتُ شَفْرَتَيْنِ؛ لِيَنْتَقِمَ بِهِمْ مِنَ الْأُمَمِ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْبُدُونَهُ "

وَهَذِهِ الصِّفَاتُ إِنَّمَا تَنْطَبِقُ عَلَى صِفَاتِ مُحَمَّدٍ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَأُمَّتِهِ، فَهُمُ الَّذِينَ يُكَبِّرُونَ اللَّهَ بِأَصْوَاتٍ مُرْتَفِعَةٍ فِي أَذَانِهِمْ
