“and they were pursued in this world by a curse, and so they shall be on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, ʿĀd rejected their Lord—away with ʿĀd, the people of Hūd!” ⦗Hud 60⦘
He—exalted is He—also said about the people of Shuʿayb:
“Away with Midian, just as Thamūd were cast far away.” ⦗Hud 95⦘
And whenever the Prophets—peace be upon them—are mentioned, the Exalted says:
“We left for him among later generations this greeting: ‘Peace be upon Noah throughout the worlds.’” ⦗al-Ṣāffāt 78⦘
“Peace be upon Abraham.” ⦗al-Ṣāffāt 109⦘
“Peace be upon Moses and Aaron.” ⦗al-Ṣāffāt 120⦘
{وَأُتْبِعُوا فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا لَعْنَةً وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَلَا إِنَّ عَادًا كَفَرُوا رَبَّهُمْ أَلَا بُعْدًا لِعَادٍ قَوْمِ هُودٍ}
[هود: ٦٠]

وَقَالَ - تَعَالَى -
عَنْ قَوْمِ شُعَيْبٍ:
{أَلَا بُعْدًا لِمَدْيَنَ كَمَا بَعِدَتْ ثَمُودُ}
[هود: ٩٥]
.
وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ - عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ - قَالَ - تَعَالَى -:
{وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ سَلَامٌ عَلَى نُوحٍ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ}
