Al-Jawāb as-Sahīh li-man baddala dīn al-Masīh - Ibn Taimiya - (5/94)

He—exalted is He—also says:

“ We decreed for the Children of Israel in the Scripture: ‘You will surely sow corruption in the land twice, and you will indeed rise to great arrogance. When the promise of the first of the two came to pass, We sent against you servants of Ours, possessed of fearsome might; they passed through the very midst of your homes, and the promise was fulfilled. Then We gave you back the turn against them, supplied you with wealth and sons, and made you a more numerous host. If you do good, you do good for your own souls; but if you do evil, it is only to your own detriment. Then, when the promise of the latter occasion arrives, [others will be sent] to darken your faces, to enter the mosque just as they entered it the first time, and to lay waste to whatever they conquer. Perhaps your Lord will show you mercy; yet if you revert, We shall revert, and We have made Hell a prison for the disbelievers.’ ” ⦗al-Isrāʾ 17:4–8⦘.

They also admit that Bayt al-Maqdis (the Temple Sanctuary) was destroyed twice.

وَقَالَ - تَعَالَى -: {وَقَضَيْنَا إِلَى بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ فِي الْكِتَابِ لَتُفْسِدُنَّ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَلَتَعْلُنَّ عُلُوًّا كَبِيرًا - فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ أُولَاهُمَا بَعَثْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ عِبَادًا لَنَا أُولِي بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ فَجَاسُوا خِلَالَ الدِّيَارِ وَكَانَ وَعْدًا مَفْعُولًا - ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَا لَكُمُ الْكَرَّةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَمْدَدْنَاكُمْ بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ أَكْثَرَ نَفِيرًا - إِنْ أَحْسَنْتُمْ أَحْسَنْتُمْ لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوءُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا مَا عَلَوْا تَتْبِيرًا - عَسَى رَبُّكُمْ أَنْ يَرْحَمَكُمْ وَإِنْ عُدْتُمْ عُدْنَا وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ حَصِيرًا} [الإسراء: ٤ - ٨] . وَهُمْ مُعْتَرِفُونَ بِأَنَّ بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ خُرِّبَ مَرَّتَيْنِ.
