of the heavens and the earth, who has never taken a child, who has no partner in sovereignty, and who created all things and proportioned them with perfect precision.” ⦗Al-Furqān 25:1–2⦘.
He, exalted be He, also says:
“Allah has never taken a child, nor is there any deity alongside Him; for had there been, each deity would have taken away what it had created and some would have prevailed over others. Glory be to Allah above what they attribute to Him—Knower of the unseen and the seen; far exalted is He above the partners they ascribe.” ⦗Al-Muʾminūn 23:91–92⦘.
And He says:
“Indeed, out of their fabrication they say, ‘Allah has begotten,’ yet they are surely liars.” ⦗Aṣ-Ṣāffāt 37:151⦘.
And He says:
“Say: He is Allah, the One; Allah, the Ever-Besought; He neither begets nor is begotten, and none is comparable to Him.” ⦗Al-Ikhlāṣ 112:1–4⦘.
Just as He has declared Himself above begetting, He has likewise declared Himself above taking a child.
The Most High also says:
“They say, ‘The Most Merciful has taken a child.’ You have indeed advanced something monstrous! The heavens are nearly rent asunder because of it, the earth is on the verge of splitting open, and the mountains almost collapse in ruin—that they should attribute a child to the Most Merciful.” ⦗Maryam 19:88–91⦘.
