Israel:
“You want to kill me, even though I am a man who has told you the truth I heard from Allah.”
He said:
And concerning the man whom he brought back from the dead, he declared:
“O Father, I thank You for answering my supplication and I acknowledge that before You. I know that You always grant my requests, yet I ask You on behalf of this gathering so that they may believe that it is You who sent me.”
He commented:
So what plea, what recognition of prophethood, what request and entreaty for an answer from Allah—Majestic and Exalted—could be more explicit or more intense than this?
He said:
And in one of his addresses to the Jews, when they had accused him of madness, he said:
“I am not mad; rather, I honor my Father, and I do not like to praise myself—rather, I praise my Father—for I know Him. If I were to say that I do not know Him, I would be a liar like you. No, I know Him and I hold fast to His command.”
