He, exalted be He, says:

“He is Allah—there is no deity but Him—Knower of the unseen and the seen; He is the Most Merciful, the Ever-Merciful.
He is Allah—there is no deity but Him—the Sovereign, the All-Holy, Peace, the Granter of Security, the Overseer, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Supremely Great. Transcendent is Allah above all they associate with Him.
He is Allah, the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner; His are the Most Beautiful Names.” ⦗Al-Hashr 22–24⦘

Thus He has described Himself as the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner, and He has never applied any of these titles to a created being—neither angel nor prophet.

Likewise, He, the Exalted, says:

“Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is Guardian over all things.
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth.” ⦗Az-Zumar 62–63⦘

And He says:

“They have set up the jinn as partners with Allah, though He created them, and they have fabricated for Him sons and daughters without knowledge. Glorified and exalted is He above what they allege.
