Section: Refutation of Their Claim, “The chosen new dispensation is the very dispensation we received from the hands of the pure apostles.”
As for your statement: “The chosen new dispensation is the dispensation we received from the hands of the pure apostles, exactly as they received it from the Messiah, peace be upon him,” the reply is this:
Even supposing you really had been upon that dispensation and had never altered it, remaining on it would still avail you nothing once you deny the unlettered Prophet and Messenger who was sent to you and to all people with another dispensation—one more perfect than all the earlier dispensations. It profited the Jews nothing to cling to the Torah while refusing to follow the dispensation of the Messiah who was sent to them; likewise, whoever rejects even a single messenger is an unbeliever.
The Exalted says:
“Indeed, those who disbelieve in Allah and His messengers and seek to make a distinction between Allah and His messengers, saying, ‘We believe in some and deny others,’ and who desire to adopt a position in between…” (al-Nisāʾ 4:150).
